There once lived a dragon whose name made people fearful and reverent — Azhi Ardara — on the mist-shrouded heights of Mount Abgalion, where time seemed to pause in the forgotten nooks of ancient stone. She was a being of incredible intelligence and unquenchable desire, not just a creature of flame and scale. For centuries Azhi Ardara watched mortals' fleeting lives, fascinated by the frailty of their passions, until she finally tired of her own aloneness.

She gave up her dragon form, shedding her dark wings and obsidian scales for a mortal disguise of exquisite beauty, by an ancient ritual whispered to her by the stars themselves. Azhi Ardara became a woman of unmatched elegance with eyes as blue as a deep midnight on the highest mountains.

Azhi Ardara pursued sheer desire in addition to absolute beauty. She used her age-old knowledge to produce a scent unmatched in the mortal world. A distillation of long-forgotten blossoms that grew only in hidden slopes and moonlit woods. She added one of her dragon scales to the elixir.

The story
I am born from Azhi Ardara, the dragon in Mount Abgalion where time seemed to pause in ancient stone, the dragon who became a woman of unmatched beauty to seduce all creatures of mankind. I am the bewitching elixir of perfect seduction, a luminous adventure of bittersweet sensuality, combining a unique blend of cashmere and sandalwood, vanilla, raspberry and dragon scale. I am a promise of eternal attraction. I am Azhi Ardara.

The fragrance
The softness of the cahsmere wood, the depth and unspoken attraction of the grey amber surrounded by Vanilla and sandalwood, in the most elegant way, and a dash of Vetiver to provide a soft abrasiveness construction. Strong, deep and soft at the same time, just as ambiguous as a dragon.

The perfumer
“I’ll be where I’m least expected.” This could easily be Émilie Coppermann’s mantra, given that her creations cultivate a signature at once elegant and full of surprises: the harmony born of opposites and counter-intuitive choices of ingredients.

There is no denying that the more you find out about the Parisian perfumer, who was brought up by hippie parents and a grandmother devoted to Chanel, the more surprising she becomes. Alongside the boundless love she feels for her native city is an all-consuming passion for travelling to far-off places, from Tanzania to Japan. A Master Perfumer since 2016 at the head of one big happy family, Émilie is a professional with a dazzling career who manages to juggle everything, even finding time to play the piano. Living her life at full throttle, she stays balanced thanks to the contrasts that mark it– and always with a smile on her face.
