Silvana Casoli, the company's founder, has been fascinated by fragrances for many years. A trained scientist and cosmetologist, she worked successfully as an aromatherapist for many years before fulfilling her dream with Il Profumo. Il Profumo is therefore, as she herself says, more than ‘just’ a brand; it is a labour of love, an idea that must be pursued, a project that is constantly evolving.

Silvana Casoli is inspired by the rhythm and language of nature and combines traditional knowledge of the effects of fragrance essences and aromas with modern manufacturing processes to create her perfumes.
