‘Oajan’ by Parfums de Marly is dedicated to one of the five bloodlines of the Arabian thoroughbred. In earlier times, these noble horses decided entire wars as warhorses. Today, they benefit from their excellent qualities in sporting competitions as racehorses.
The opening notes of ‘Oajan’ feature sharp, tingling cinnamon notes competing with tart honey and light, fruity osmanthus notes. The heart notes are interwoven like a harmonious tapestry: balsamic benzoin, warm, spicy labdanum and ambergris combine with herbaceous, sweet, almost plum-like davana notes to create a fragrance of perfect harmony. The base supports this wonderful fragrance character with patchouli and soft musk. The sweet temptations are in focus, as gourmets are reminded of oriental delicacies such as halva, almonds, marzipan and amaretto.
Oajan pays homage to the Arabs, kings among horses, in the language of the most delicious desserts, nobly interpreted, full of love and reverence.
