Here Comes The Sun is a creation that began as an experiment in Kristian's private laboratory in 2018. Perfumer Cristiano Canali was then commissioned to continue the development, with the aim of challenging the usual fougère as we know it today. Disregarding the egalitarian attitude of the Nordic countries, known as the ‘Law of Jante’ (Janteloven), Here Comes the Son encourages a fearless confidence.
Volume III - Act of Faith
Volume III has been in the works since 2018 and is an ambitious attempt to create a modern sensual universe. Using trial and error, Cristiano Canali and Kristian Malbrum have developed a trilogy that emphasises the importance of determination, self-confidence and the power of imagination. The trilogy also contains an ironic undertone that raises the question of the extent to which perfumery has become a result of marketing tactics rather than a form of expression.
