The story of Baghari is one of romance and adventure. In 1950, Robert Piguet approached renowned master perfumer Francis Fabron with a request: to create a perfume for him. A creation that would appeal to a dreamer, someone wistful and melancholic.
This marked the birth of Baghari, the last fragrance Robert Piguet presented before retiring from the fashion world. As a result, Baghari fell into oblivion – until it was rediscovered in 2006. The original formula's magic inspired the new owners of the Robert Piguet house and convinced them to breathe new life into this rare treasure. Baghari was carefully reformulated and relaunched as part of the Classic Collection. Today, it is back – and more beautiful than ever!
Aldehydes herald passionate femininity in the opening notes, powdery-sweet, delicate and with a fruity creaminess that emphasises Baghari's inherent vintage character. The opulent heart is sensual, full of velvety roses and lush jasmine, cooled and boldly refined by silky iris. But Baghari is truly perfected by its incomparable base, which shines with the sweet smoke of vanilla, the luxurious warmth of ambergris and the skin-caressing softness of musk.
The rebirth of a dream that still awakens desires today – Baghari.
