In Diptyque's holiday story, fantasy lights up the winter. As the pages are turned, the scenery miraculously turns gold. The black and gold body and label of the eau de parfum reflect the story in dimensional splendour. An ideal gift for Christmas.
A different take on the rose, the eau de parfum Eau Rose reveals a completely new dimension of the flower – more faceted, more exuberant. In this composition, extracts and absolutes of damascena and centifolia roses amplify the flowers’ intensity. Firad rose essence is added to this duo, with its astonishing fruity accents of litchi, and its unexpected, yet naturally present, notes: the honeyed accents of camomile, and a singular, green, vegetal accord of artichoke. After all, the perfumers say, “a good rose always smells of artichoke”. A surprising sidestep inspired by the fantasies of nature, for a rose with a vibrant and exhilarating character.
A night of wax and gold
Once upon a time ... ‘A night of wax and gold’, a festive story by Diptyque. This year, Diptyque transports you to a magical story full of wonder and fantasy — in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where the magic of the festive season comes to life.
The trio of artists behind this creation reflects the three founders of Diptyque: contemporary poet Victor Pouchet created the winter story, illustrated with surrealism and humour by Parisian illustrator and bookseller Vincent Puente. Inès Mélia, an exceptional artist, works with shapes and materials to translate the narrative elements into poetic art objects that transform the story into a tangible form.
Set in a bookshop in Saint-Germain-des-Prés a few days before Christmas, the story follows the bookseller and his mischievous, highly educated cat Archibald. The two discover a strange attraction in a small pine cone dipped in the shimmering wax of a scented candle. With each turn of the page, the magic of the festive season unfolds …
This year, Diptyque's winter icons find themselves in a fairy tale, adorned with surreal designs and golden motifs. The boxes and wrapping paper become the precious pages of the story, imbued with poetry and light. A fairy tale that celebrates the magic of the festive season — with many loving details that playfully capture the magic of the festive season.
