Eau d'Italie - Fior Fiore

The night-blooming jasmine of Le Sirenuse.

Hotel Le Sirenuse is known not only for its exquisitely tasteful furnishings, but also for its many terraces, which offer priceless views of the Bay of Positano. Over the years, the hotel's owners noticed, as they relaxed in an armchair at the bar in the evening, lost in the contemplation of the surrounding beauty, that they were caressed by the scent of a deliciously creamy floral fragrance. It was the scent of jasmine that kept them company.

They have now captured this beautiful memory of warm summer nights in Positano with the fragrance Fior Fiore: So you can enjoy the wonderful jasmine of Le Sirenuse at home and all year round.

Eau d'Italie - The essence of Italy
For once, Eau d'Italie's inspiration doesn't come from a journey or a love affair, but it nevertheless tells the story of a great passion – namely, that for a hotel: Le Sirenuse, a luxurious gem with only a few dozen rooms, but boasting five stars and multiple awards. It is located on Italy's wonderful Amalfi Coast in the picturesque town of Positano, a long-standing and popular tourist destination. Positano is known above all for its vibrant colors and the many steep alleys and staircases that characterize the town: John Steinbeck once called Positano "the only vertical place in the world."

Le Sirenuse, the small but perfectly formed hotel, is a family business owned by the Sersales family. Marina Sersale, scion of the family, pursued a career as a documentary filmmaker and producer after completing her studies, traveling extensively around the world before finally settling in Rome, where she still lives today. It was there that she met Sebastián Alvarez Murena. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he comes from a family of writers. He lived in Spain and Switzerland before settling in Rome, where he has lived for 24 years and is both a journalist and entrepreneur.

In 2002, Marina and Sebastián began working on a new project: the creation of a fragrance that would celebrate the 50th anniversary of Le Sirenuse and capture the philosophy and spirit of the house. In 2004, the company's first fragrance, Eau d'Italie, was launched, accompanied by an exclusive line of body care products. At the same time, a very selective distribution of the collection was launched, which met with great success—so the initial signature fragrance was followed by others... and hopefully, many more will follow.
