Tabacco 1815 celebrates the excellence of a Tuscan cigar. In 1815, a large quantity of tobacco laid out to dry in the summer sun at the Manifattura di Firenze was caught in a heavy rain shower. Unable to throw all the tobacco into the Arno River, it was decided to make cigars to sell to the inhabitants of Florence. This was an immediate success: the water had fermented the tobacco, giving it a completely new flavour. Tabacco 1815 is the fragrance of tradition, created by chance and now looking back on more than 200 years of history.
