A new, permanent addition to the collection, introducing the sixth fragrance in all product categories. With the cosiness of the most beautiful rooms, Storyteller takes us on a new olfactory journey to Sir Paul's most precious memories.
Memory: Paul's trips to the Nottinghamshire countryside in winter.
Smells like: stories by the fireplace, hand-spun blankets and dry logs.
Warm and opulent notes make Storyteller the perfect fragrance for autumn and winter. Perfect in combination with Bookworm, e.g. as a Christmas gift.
"I wanted to capture the warm feeling of sitting in front of a crackling fire in winter, with the smoky smell of burning wood. Next to the fire is a basket of chopped wood covered with moss and lichen. I used vetiver oil from Java, a smoky variety of vetiver, together with guaiac wood, which is also smoky, and earthy patchouli oil." – Meabh Mc Curtin
The glass
Made from two-tone complementary glass, the vessels are designed to be reused. They come with a lid that doubles as a coaster to protect surfaces from heat and spills.
The interplay of light and colour was key to the design of the striking vessels, which, when lit, subtly echo Paul Smith's signature stripe. Even the box, with its unique zip design, has been carefully thought out and is a nod to Paul Smith's expertise as a tailor.
How to
Carefully open the bottle containing the liquid and slowly pour the entire contents into the glass vessel. Then place the sleeve on top and insert the sticks. It can take up to 24 hours for the sticks to fully absorb the fragrance. To ensure that the fragrance spreads optimally, place the jar in a room with good air circulation and turn the sticks from time to time. Be careful not to place the diffuser near the edges of surfaces. If you wish to reuse the jar, do not clean it in the dishwasher.
