Botanist, inspired by the tailoring in Paul's first shop in Nottingham; it evokes freshly cut grass and green notes and contains notes of Haitian vetiver, moss and lemon.
The fragrance
The fragrance was carefully developed by perfumers Céline Barel and Meabh McCurtin at IFF (International Flavours and Fragrances) to remain true to Paul Smith's individual sensibility. The specially selected ingredients include fine natural oils sourced from LMR Natural (Laboratoire Monique Remy), one of the world's most renowned raw material suppliers, which has long supplied the world's best perfumers.
The glass
Made from two-tone, complementary glass, the vessels are designed to be reused. They come with a lid that doubles as a coaster to protect surfaces from heat and spills.
The interplay of light and colour was key to the design of the striking vessels, which, when lit, subtly echo Paul Smith's signature stripe. Even the box, with its unique zip design, has been carefully thought out and is a nod to Paul Smith's expertise as a tailor.
Application
Carefully open the bottle containing the liquid and slowly pour the entire contents into the glass vessel. Then place the sleeve on top and insert the sticks. It can take up to 24 hours for the sticks to fully absorb the fragrance. To ensure that the fragrance spreads optimally, place the jar in a room with good air circulation and turn the sticks from time to time. Be careful not to place the diffuser near the edges of surfaces. If you wish to reuse the jar, do not clean it in the dishwasher.
