Blue Atlas cedar is an aromatic wood from the highlands of Morocco. It symbolises immortality and was once used to build the temples of Babylon. Its essential oil pampers body and mind with its countless benefits. Its aromatic woody notes make it an important ingredient in perfumery. Although Atlas cedar is a difficult raw material to work with, its character brings with it smoky and camphoraceous notes that lend exquisite strength and elegance to any perfume.
‘Atlas cedar is a noble wood that evokes the scent of the shavings in our carpentry workshops. This majestic tree has always fascinated me. It unfolds its many facets, which are sometimes strong and sweet, reminiscent of the scent of a sharpened pencil. It is a rich material that demands calm and creativity. Like the carpenter who carves a beautiful piece of furniture, I wanted to create a magnificent fragrance and add a new strong and delicate decorative element to the SUPERFLUIDE collection, with spicy and woody notes characterised by rose and immortelle.’
