A unique creation developed to honour and commemorate the significant milestone of Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. Inspired by Her Majesty's beautiful gardens surrounding her residences in the United Kingdom, this fragrance reflects the Queen's 70 years of service and the many people she has inspired during her remarkable reign.
In support of the Queen's Green Canopy initiative, Floris is supporting ‘Plant a Tree for The Jubilee’, with each tree planted representing a year of Her Majesty's service.
The top note of Platinum 22 opens with cool iris, rounded off by the soothing scent of oats and enlivened by a hint of blackcurrant and lime. The heart note consists of a radiant rose with violet leaves, clary sage, black tea and a hint of black pepper, which adds a touch of spice. The fragrance closes with a warm, woody base note of cedarwood, enriched by a harmony of soft amber, musk and tonka bean.
‘It has been a great honour and privilege for our perfumery team and me to work on this unique project and create a special fragrance to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.’ — Edward Bodenham, Director of Floris Perfumery and 9th generation member of the family.
The Queen's Green Canopy
Floris London is delighted to be invited to partner with The Queen's Green Canopy, a unique tree-planting initiative encouraging people across the UK to plant a tree in honour of Her Majesty's 70 years of service to the nation. As part of the celebrations, people are being asked to create a network of trees, avenues, copses and woodlands to honour Her Majesty's 70 years of service to the nation. In addition to planting new trees, existing forests will also be dedicated to The Queen's Green Canopy by placing commemorative plaques to celebrate the occasion and preserve the forests for the future on behalf of the Queen. This initiative will enhance tree landscapes across the United Kingdom and create an ecological and cultural legacy in honour of the Queen's leadership.
