Eyes closed – the sun on my face. A fresh breeze brings thousands of scents from all around, scents that belong to my home, my ‘Terra Mia’. There is no question of if, when or where it is, it is everywhere. Because it is about love for one's roots, pride in uniqueness, which resonates in every thought, every hope and every gesture. It is self-awareness that feeds curiosity – day after day. Bergamot, neroli and pink pepper greet you vividly – almost like a cheerful song. Or is it the mask of Pulcinella that brings a smile to your face?
The air is quickly filled with the scent of roses and jasmine – a hint of the mild climate that lasts longer here than anywhere else. This leaves room for a coffee, whose aroma is always noticeable to passers-by, sometimes with a hint of hazelnut or orange blossom.
These cheerful fragrances spring from tradition and capture tastes and hearts. The memory of vanilla and amber is directly linked to places, buildings and symbols in the dim light of the sun. The churches and old doors of the mansions in Naples, places where time seems to have stood still, and last but not least, it is Pulcinella's mask that makes us laugh and cry at the same time in a whirlwind of contrasting emotions.
Tradition and development, passion and future, tranquillity and creativity – all this is home – ‘Terra Mia’.
