“England’s evening spark….”
1805 Tonnerre – the thunder of canons during the famous Battle of Trafalgar. The Royal Navy under the command of Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson sailed against the Franco-Spanish Armada under Vice Admiral Pierre de Villeneuve. The signal sent by Nelson was, “England expects that every man will do his duty" and indeed Nelson himself was fatally wounded but the enemy suffered such a decisive defeat that even Napoléon was forced to change his plans for invading Britain.
BeauFort’s 1805 has powerful accords of smoke, gunpowder, blood and brandy that combine with sea spray and a penetrating citrus note. The fragrance is singularly bold in its composition, yet ultimately refined, provocative and unique.
Come Hell or High Water
"By way of introduction: 1st September 2015, we are extremely proud to unveil the “Come Hell or High Water” fragrance collection, the first chapter of our little tale. We hope that with these three Eau De Parfum we have created a tempestuous opening: striking, bold, a little contrary perhaps - the tone is now set. The “fragments” you will find here are the footnotes to these olfactory tales as they unfold elsewhere. Here you will find an appendix of the intriguing, the curious and the bizarre: Grains of information that have inspired us to create stories and express them through scent.”
