Carner Barcelona was founded in 2010 by Sara Carner, who wanted to capture the intoxicating atmosphere of her Catalan homeland as a sensual adventure. Carner Barcelona is a collection of exquisite perfumes made from the finest raw materials, created in the best manufacturing tradition by master perfumers and renowned artists.


Sara Carner draws her inspiration from the significant yet fleeting moments of life. The Catalan designer's fragrances immerse you in the vibrant diversity of Barcelona with its squares and Ramblas. They tell stories of longing and true feelings, of memories and extraordinary encounters. Although each perfume has its own unique aromas and distinctive notes, they all share a common thread that reflects Sara Carner's philosophy: Carner Barcelona perfumes are for individualists who treat themselves to the luxury of being unique.


Sara Carner grew up with five siblings in a traditional family of Spanish leather manufacturers in Catalonia. Even as a child, she developed the courage to explore and transcend the narrow confines of her childhood in rural idyll. This trait, combined with her early passion for collecting scented candles and perfume bottles, led her to study at the renowned Columbia University in New York and pursue a career in the international cosmetics business, where she worked with the best and the brightest in the industry. Always with her: memories of her sheltered childhood, places, people and unique encounters, as well as a growing desire to combine her passion for fragrances with her professional experience. Back in Barcelona, she realised her dream and founded Carner Barcelona. The flacon design reflects the seamless connection between old craft traditions and modern forms. The simple glass cube of the bottle feels unexpectedly heavy in the hand, accentuated by the solid beech wood cap. Like the exclusive embossing on the cardboard and label, the material and colour are characteristic elements of traditional Spanish craftsmanship and are also a nod to the Sara Carner family's generations of leather craftsmanship.


As with all Carner Barcelona fragrances, the responsible use of natural resources and the strict use of fair trade, renewable raw materials are the top priority of the Catalan perfume manufacturer.
