Exciting woods and sensual spices
Harmatan Noir 11 expresses the spicy scent of a hot desert wind, with a chord of Mentha citrata and Jamaican pepper (allspice) on a base of cedarwood and dried jasmine blossoms. This fragrance was inspired by the countries of Black Africa.
With number 11.1, called ‘Indian Wood’ from the Numbered Collection, we travel to the land of the Maharajas. Sandalwood, vetiver and tree moss create a woody sillage that transports us deep into an Indian forest. A hot and cool contrast emerges from peppermint, nutmeg and cardamom, evoking the humidity of the rainy season. A drop of coconut milk and some lemon zest give the fragrance a special, sensual tension.
Just as a painter's work can be divided into phases, Pierre Guillaume allows different expressions of his ideas to coexist and interprets his favourite themes again and again in new ways.
