Original idea: an explosion of white, modern powder on a dark vanilla pod.
Main ingredient: vanilla absolute from Madagascar, from the Fair for Life cultivation programme.
Creative approach: the addictive character of vanilla is enhanced by coconut powder. Light Palo Santo wood adds structure and straightforwardness. White musk envelops the vanilla and powder to create a modern and luminous perfume.

‘My formulas are short. I want you to feel the natural beauty of the raw material at the heart of my perfumes. Our mission is in our name: Matière Première is French for raw material.’
The house produces its own roses and tuberoses, which are organically grown in the Grasse region.
‘I am the only perfumer who grows his own raw materials. We have great respect for nature and local expertise.’
