Water Lily
The giant water lily is a perennial aquatic plant with a fruity fragrance. It has herbal tones enriched by colourful, juicy and fruity notes.
Origin
Native to the flooded landscapes of the Amazon, the giant water lily (Victoria amazonica) is a fascinating perennial aquatic plant. It belongs to the Nymphaeaceae family and can grow up to five metres wide. Its white or pink flowers reach a diameter of 30 centimetres. It was first brought to Europe in 1800 and can now be seen in botanical gardens across the continent, its magnificent flowers representing the exotic in all its extremes.
Perfume
An aquatic fruitiness. The top note of the giant water lily, a vegetal yet subtly floral scent, is complemented by further fruity and addictive nuances. The moist, floral facets then open up with colourful, juicy and fruity notes reminiscent of pineapple.
Colourful illustrations from 19th-century botanical plates appear through a matt, delicate blue glass. In the centre of the octagonal label are water lily flowers and leaves in gold embossing.
