Maître Parfumeur et Gantier chose oud (also known as Emir wood) to give one of their most sensual fragrance harmonies an oriental twist. The result is Ambre Doré, a subtle composition that transports us to the forests of Thailand, Cambodia and India in search of the tropical Aquilaria or agarwood tree.
Perfume connoisseurs will discover a wealth of rare essences in this eau de parfum: oud, styrax resin, myrrh, saffron and sandalwood, which together form a unique, woody composition.
Ambergris is also an essential element of this composition and has long been a favourite ingredient of Maître Parfumeur et Gantier. The gold-plated cap with its amber-coloured glass surround reflects the warm notes of this fragrance and highlights the classic elegance of the glass bottle, which is decorated with the Maître Parfumeur et Gantier coat of arms screen-printed on the side.
