Turin is renowned for its rich history and historical past, which is still evident today in its numerous palaces and monuments. Once upon a time, a beautiful young woman lived in the former capital of Italy, who was supposed to marry a French officer. However, she refused, and to this day it is not known whether this was because he was of French descent or simply because he was old and unattractive. Perhaps the young lady had already given her heart away and sworn eternal love to another...
She made the tragic decision to spend the rest of her young life in self-imposed solitude and captivity. Secluded behind the walls of the Palazzo Madame, she lived a lonely life with unfulfilled love in her heart.
Her only escape from this world full of jealousy and betrayal were the fragrant and delicately scented notes of fruit and the numerous white flowers outside her lonely realm. Trapped in her dreams, she lets her gaze wander far beyond the horizon, and so they are so close and yet so unattainably far away, the promises of the outside world.
Dama Bianca begins surprisingly bright and undramatic, almost a little innocent. Fresh and juicy are the intense notes of lime and kumquat that are responsible for this. Immediately, the floral-opulent dance of Florentine iris, Egyptian jasmine, delicately fragrant lilac and a hint of lily of the valley begins. Jasmine sets the tone here, but leaves enough room for the other flowers to unfold. Sometimes it is the spring-like hint of lily of the valley, sometimes a few sprigs of purple lilac, then the proud iris with its incomparable scent – jasmine lets everyone dance, but remains in charge.
The glamorous flowers of Dama Bianca seem to be carried by dense, fluffy vanilla cotton balls, all in white. The heart note is gentle and extremely powerful at the same time, and so beguiling that you want to dive deep into this exquisite, slightly oriental-tinged fragrance.
Finally, vanilla with ambrette and the finest woods, together with musk, create the distinctly sensual and creamy base that lasts almost indefinitely and leaves us wondering the next morning – was it a dream or reality?
Dama Bianca is the seventh fragrance in the exclusive Casamorati vintage collection. The 100 ml bottles are made of satin-finished white glass, and the label features the graceful face of a beautiful woman, reflecting the sophistication and richness of the perfume. At the same time, Dama Bianca pays homage to the elegance and independence of today's woman.
