This rare oil, extracted from the resin of certain agarwood trees, is prized by many connoisseurs for its many facets: its sublime smokiness, its powerful woody character, its animalistic undertones combined with sensuality and elegance. Oud Imperial was created to emphasise the woody nature of oud and reflect its leathery character.
To achieve this, oud was combined with exquisite grasses, herbs and woods. The character of this oud fragrance is accordingly tart, bold and fresh: cedarwood from the Atlas Mountains lends the fragrance a dignified, austere woodiness, while sandalwood adds warm, spicy notes. Vetiver provides delicate, salty grassy hints and smokiness.
