Mamluk is a journey into great depths, as intense and resinous notes from the earth create a meditative and spiritual fragrance. Honey and caramel notes resonate from the outset, creating a warm and rich invitation to the senses.
Oud Stars is a fragrance line with six scents based on the Xerjoff Shooting Stars collection.
It is entirely dedicated to the tradition of Arabic perfume making. The Oud Stars collection was created using renowned distillation processes of pure oud from plantations in Laos, Cambodia and Borneo.
The extensive research and elaborate production of Oud Stars was undertaken with the intention of creating a special collection, faithful to traditional Arabic perfume making, combined with the luxurious and creative style of Xerjoff perfumes.
The names of the six perfumes are taken from an ancient book called ‘The Travels of Ibn Battuta’, which was written in 1325.
Ibn Battuta, also known as the Marco Polo of the Arab world, described the life and culture of many North African and other Arab cities in his work. He thus left behind an important written record of this era.
Zafar, Al-Khatt, Mamluk, Gao, Najaf and Fars are historical city names that inspired the names of the six fragrances in the Oud Stars collection.
The Oud Stars Collection
The Oud Stars Collection by Xerjoff, a collection inspired by the Arab tradition of perfume making, contains the most luxurious and precious ingredient in the world: oud. A collection capable of transporting the wearer to another world, where this original oriental style is reinterpreted through Italian craftsmanship and creativity. It transports us to new, stimulating universes and reveals intense emotions with every spray.
Oud Stars is entirely inspired by and dedicated to the journey of Ibn Battuta. As extensive as the journey he undertook, each of the exquisitely crafted perfumes in this collection bears the name of the cities he visited and described in his book.
