Estratto di Colonia by Pineider is undoubtedly a classic cologne. It opens with a citrus trio of bergamot, lemon and mandarin, rounded off with a herbaceous-green splash of clary sage.
Rose and jasmine fill the heart and resonate in light and subtle floral notes.
Crystal musk, musk and moss round off the fragrance and harmoniously complete the accord.
Estratto di Colonia is decidedly reminiscent of classic Italian colognes, yet it is so modern that it fits perfectly into the here and now. Clear, light, elegant, fresh and lively – that is Estratto di Colonia by Pineider.
Bottle and packaging
Each eau de parfum embodies the spirit and philosophy of Pineider and is a masterpiece. It is presented in a vial adorned with a metal cap, which in turn is encased in hammered deerskin in shades of brown, ivory or yellow. The unique container for the bottle is made of sapele, a hard mahogany wood, and is reminiscent of the days when precious fragrances – such as bergamot essence – were still transported in carriages.
