The inspiration
Widian presents Hili, the third fragrance in the Widian Velvet Collection. The fragrance is dedicated to the flower gardens of the historic Hili Park in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The gardens of Hili
The Hili Archaeological Park was created to showcase the ancient monuments of Al Ain. Most of the monuments date back to the Umm al-Naar period, which lasted from 2,500 BC to 2,000 BC. The centrepiece is the large tomb of Hili, which dates back to 2,000 BC. In the Hili Archaeological Park, shady walking paths lead through numerous ruins from the Bronze and Iron Ages, which testify to the early importance of this region as a trading hub.
The fragrance
Hili is a floral, powdery, enormously sensual fragrance from the oriental-spicy fragrance category. It reveals a delicate and mysterious personality inspired by the tradition of royal gardens and their values of excellence and uniqueness. Hili thus adds another facet to the floral Velvet collection.
Hili opens with bergamot, pink pepper, coriander and cinnamon. In contrast to the delicacy of jasmine and the softness of tuberose, powdery and woody notes play with those of amber and ylang-ylang. They hint at a touch of patchouli and the addictive and seductive notes of coconut milk. Hili – a symbol of purity and perfection.
