Plot
A brilliantly dark graphic novel. A City On Fire is the story of two ‘matchmakers.’ Rupert literally makes matches in a factory, while Frances writes a dating column for the city newspaper. Both are loners who lie in the shadows of the night, observing secret activities from afar, but never participating in them. This changes one evening when they both witness the same murder and are now forced to team up as a strange revenge duo to clear their own names.
