200 ml refill of the perfume and 6 natural rattan sticks
A helpful tip:
When using for the first time, allow the sticks to soak up the fragrance concentrate for 5–6 hours, then drain them and place them upside down in the glass container so that they can begin to release their fragrance. Repeat this process from time to time to reactivate the fragrance diffusion.
Because the fragrance concentrate contains natural ingredients, the colour may change over time, but this has no effect on the fragrance.
Room fragrance diffuser
Diptyque's commitment to combining form and function is as strong as ever. This is beautifully demonstrated by the centrepiece of the collection, with which diptyque is breaking new ground: the room fragrance diffuser with its decorative, timeless design. This new fragrance diffuser for large rooms will stand the test of time and can be refilled as desired.
The rattan sticks absorb and diffuse the aroma in just the right amount.
Their omnipresent beauty is reflected in the graphic design of the collection: inspired by the lines of the historic Basile motif, which has been reinterpreted to evoke the fine veining of the stone walls in the first diptyque boutique at 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain, and is visible in the finishes and golden accents of the products. The prism effect created by the interplay of rattan sticks, fragrance liquid and glass facets produces a wealth of light reflections, giving the object a strong presence.
Diptyque – 34 Boulevard Saint Germain
This fragrance collection is a passionate story of gentle dreamers. A story of people who were in pursuit of a scent. Capturing fragrances like others catch butterflies with a net over their shoulders. In fact, Diptyque wanted to capture the scent of its first boutique with rare and precious fragrances to give everyone a little piece of this place and its history.
Each of the products in this range belongs to the exceptional and refined collection dreamed up in 1961 by Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Coueslant, the three friends and founders of Diptyque. The famous oval label with ink lettering by Desmond Knox-Leet is omnipresent. It can be found on the packaging and the matt white label of the room spray. This label is the model for the shape of the Eau de Toilette glass bottle, the shape of the rich soap and the cream-coloured candle holder.
