Carrière Frères - La Rose Aime La Menthe - Botanical Palets
Carrière Frères celebrates the surprising combination of mint, a deep green perennial, and the queen of flowers: the Damask rose.
Discovered in Turkey, the rose proudly displays its exquisite corolla to reveal the delicacy of its fragrance. In contrast, mint offers freshness with its deep green, serrated leaves and cone-shaped pink or purple flowers. Typical of the souks and palaces of North Africa, it captivates with its refreshing and subtle scent.
When cold, the herbaceous scent of fresh mint is noticeable. When warm, the delicate floral scent of the rose prevails.
The Botanical Palets box contains two palets of the same fragrance. They are practical and suitable for perfuming small spaces, such as a cupboard or drawer. Thanks to the ribbon, they can also be hung on a door handle or a coat hanger.
Made from 100% vegetable wax from European organic rapeseed, a ribbon made from recycled polyester and plants and chips of natural origin that are harvested sustainably and in season, each Botanical Palet demonstrates Carrière Frères' commitment to sustainability.
Each Botanical Palet is handmade in France in our workshops in Normandy and scented with a blend of natural raw materials and synthetic materials.
To limit the environmental impact of packaging, no plastics or unnecessary materials are used. Carrière Frères has opted for a natural approach with boxes made from 100% recycled and recyclable FSC paper, labels made from FSC paper (40% recycled) and printing with plant-based inks.
Keep away from sources of fire. Always protect the surface on which the palette is placed. Avoid contact with textiles. Do not use the product for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.

History and expertise of the brand
The history of Carrière Frères naturally follows that of the Royal Wax Manufactory, now known as Trudon. In 1884, the Carrière brothers decided to buy the manufactory: passionate about its historical expertise, they wanted to modernise it. With respect for tradition, they initially continued the centuries-old heritage of the 17th and 18th century candle makers. Then, in order to indulge their curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit, they founded the company Carrière Frères in 1884. At the end of the 18th century, the industrial revolution was in full swing: despite the wave of modernisation and increasing access to electricity, the brothers managed to keep the use of candles alive and creative. In a clever way, candles were added to religious use as decorative objects: a new generation of pillar and taper candles appeared on dining tables and at festive evenings. As early as 1889, the brothers were awarded a gold medal at the World's Fair for their vision and craftsmanship.
The Carrière Frères line, manufactured by Trudon, has since been at the forefront of respecting traditional expertise, embracing modernity and creating a legacy.
Innovation and sustainable strategy
Carrière Frères adheres to the highest standards and is constantly seeking innovation in order to use only the best ingredients. Through the choice of sustainable products and a creative approach, each element of the blend is selected to minimise its impact on the environment without compromising the aesthetics or sensory properties of the product. Carrière Frères composes its perfumes in collaboration with the Robertet Group, a world leader in raw material sourcing, which provides a unique range of natural ingredients for creating original perfumes. Preferring only the best quality also means pursuing a global sustainable strategy. The raw materials are always sourced ethically from a cooperative as part of sustainability programmes and using organic farming methods. For each botanical essence, the process is precise, responsible, sustainable and ethical. The packaging also reflects a responsible and transparent approach: recycled glass, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) cardboard packaging, 100% natural alcohol, untreated rattan sticks, cork caps – every component is chosen to reduce the brand's footprint.
