Cozé from Parfumerie Générale is an oriental, spicy fragrance with a dynamic presence. Created for men, it is based on the aromas of Indian hemp oil.
The rare and precious raw materials that give this fragrance its incomparable character are a daring composition.
The heart delights the nose with spicy accents and precious woods combined with pepper, allspice and an infusion of coffee, rounded off with ebony and a hint of bourbon vanilla.

Mehr über Pierre Guillaume
In 2002, at the age of just 25, Pierre Guillaume created his first composition, called ‘Cozé’. His creations were praised by American perfume critic Chandler Burr (New York Times & GQ USA) as ‘the coolest new European fragrances from a young French chemist’. He also founded his own perfume house, Parfumerie Générale. He increasingly focused on the fascinating interplay of physical factors: the result was the process of photoaffinage or photo-refining, the smoothing of fragrance peaks through UV radiation. His use of unusual ingredients is by no means sensationalism, but rather enriches the resulting fragrance composition. His individual and unique compositional style always led his creations down special paths:
‘Wearing a perfume for oneself is not only a self-centred and moving experience, but also for everyone else, especially the special ‘others’. My perfumes rely on contact with the skin to express themselves. Without it, they would be nothing.’
Pierre Guillaume's perfume art
Pierre Guillaume's studio is an independent perfume house, founded by him and run by his family team. Pierre has never accepted investment offers in order to remain completely independent in his creation and decision-making. The entire development process – from mixing the concentrate to filtering and blending with the carrier alcohol to the final bottling – takes place in the company's own laboratories and production facilities in Clermont-Ferrand, in the Auvergne region. The visual signature is entirely his own creation, and the packaging components are also finished in Clermont-Ferrand. Suppliers are selected based on their regional proximity: pumps, bottles, boxes, lids, labels. His ‘Superladies’, as he affectionately calls them, continue to fill and pack each product lovingly by hand.
