Freddie Albrighton - Bernadette Margaret Evelyn Theresa
Bernadette Margaret Evelyn Theresa is an ode to my mom. As a piece of work - it is all about warmth, comfort and familiarity - playing with nostalgia and vintage inspirations but constructed very contemporary. It’s richly floral, but also hard to pinpoint — revolving mostly around a carnation and frangipani accord, with aspects of neroli, rose, jasmine, ylang and orange blossom. Thick stone fruits, apricot and the juiciness of blood orange mix with familiar culinary spices of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. The base is a transparent but bold, dry, radiant veil of patchouli, cedar wood, musks and resins... a cross between 80s, shoulder-pad, powerhouse, and 70s “flower-hippy”.
