A new planet, a new universe. The golden shell of this new fragrance, designed by French sculptor Jean Boggio, is an invitation to discover a wonderland. Encelade, a fresh jungle on the edge of a volcano, is a powerful and captivating perfume. Its sensual and unique green and woody notes will seduce both men with character and women in search of sophistication.
The inspiration
Encelade (Enceladus) is a moon of Saturn discovered in 1789. A bluish celestial body covered in snow and fresh water and probably seismically active. Besides the fantastic idea that Enceladus could one day be covered by a green jungle, the mythological figure embodies strength, rebellion and character, the moon stands for freshness, sweetness and purity.
In mythology, Encelados, son of Gaia (the earth) and Uranos (the sky), was brought down by Athena after giants tried to climb Mount Olympus to reach the gods. Legend has it that he was buried under the earth of Sicily and that he still breathes through the vapours and eruptions of the volcano Etna.
A play of light and shadow in a perfume that plays out its paradoxes with joy. The main accord of rhubarb, cedarwood and vetiver expresses the scent of earth, sap and lush nature. Green and woody notes mingle with smoked and animal leather on impact. Milky sandalwood and tonka bean lend sensuality and longing to the skin. The pure seduction of a perfume that exerts a wild attraction.
