Atria celebrates light: a star at the tip of the Triangulum constellation, which was already known to the ancient Greeks and Romans. Brighter than the sun, Atria is surrounded by celestial objects, including a spiral galaxy. Its so-called nebula star – a quasar and the luminous centre of this huge nebula – is one of the first ever discovered.
Atria is a delicate, light fragrance with a powdery note: its feminine character is reminiscent of tender, gentle touches. The heart consists of iris, cashmere wood and amber notes with leathery, musky base notes. The alabaster gives the Atria scented candle a radiant aura.
Atria is part of the Alabaster collection, the new Trudon series with luminous white elements. The delicate alabaster not only replaces the traditional green glass, but also creates a sculptural object with a matching cap.
Praised since ancient times by the Greeks, Egyptians and Romans, alabaster is a soft stone: its milky appearance filters light perfectly. Countless artefacts, objects and sculptures made from alabaster can be found in museums around the world. They all symbolise elegance, finesse and immaculate whiteness. In ancient Greece, alabaster also gave its name to a handle-less vase used to hold perfume (αλάϐαστρος/alabastros).
Carved from a single block in Spain, the new vessels and matching tops are unique pieces: the veins running across the surface of the alabaster are inherently unique. Minimalist and aesthetic, a gold metallic label recalls the history of the manufacture. The translucent alabaster is illuminated by the candle flame and reflects the light: with the white mineral tops, The Alabaster candle series is transformed into a unique home accessory and coveted collector's item.
A new raw material: numerous nuances, tones and facets
Introducing a new raw material to the product range: alabaster, a translucent stone that offers a wide range of shades and grains. Each candle is unique, the nuances endless, which means that we cannot describe the colour of the glass or the structure of the grains of each candle exactly.
