La Tulipe
The composition of La Tulipe unfolds around a heart of tulips. This flower evokes associations with the dew of morning gardens. As one of the first flowers to bloom in the season, it is considered the ultimate symbol of the return of spring.
"I have always loved tulips, so I decided to create a fragrance that captures the complexity of this flower. I wanted to capture its shy character and combine it with the strong expression of its appearance. I find the tulip very fascinating because its scent cannot be extracted through distillation. So we combined natural ingredients from different parts of the tulip with other flowers to express and realise our vision with this fragrance." Ben Gorham
The formula
The formula contains a high level of shea butter (20%). Shea butter comes from the shea nut tree, better known as the karité tree or African butter tree, which grows in West Africa. Shea butter is traded there or used for medicinal purposes, but also for beauty care.
Benefits for the skin: Contains fatty acids that improve the skin's moisture content and elasticity. Shea is an excellent source of vitamins A and E, which strengthen the skin and repair damage. Shea butter restores the skin's moisture content with all the essential ingredients it needs for balance, elasticity and complexion. Shea butter is used in the highest quality cosmetic products and makes the skin soft and easily absorbed.
The formula contains a blend of moisturisers that have been tested for long-lasting hydration (a combination of glycol and xylitol). The nourishing properties of shea butter are supported by the moisturising power of natural sugar, xylitol. The sugar attracts water molecules, allowing the skin to absorb and retain moisture.
