La Sélection Florale is a box containing three legendary floral fragrances: Blanche, La Tulipe and Rose of No Man's Land.
Blanche
‘Blanche’ is an olfactory impression of the colour white, as Gorham, the creative mind behind Byredo, explains: ‘As the name suggests, “Blanche” is a composition that explores my perception of the colour white.’ A romantic description for a romantic fragrance. Blanche is lucid purity, a fragrance that uncompromisingly translates Gorham's associations: it smells like freshly washed linen sheets, sun-drenched and air-kissed – an indispensable candidate for fans of such fragrances.
La Tulipe
The composition of ‘La Tulipe’ unfolds around a heart of tulips. This flower evokes associations with the dew of morning gardens. As one of the first flowers to bloom in the season, it is considered the ultimate symbol of the return of spring. I find the tulip very fascinating because its scent cannot be extracted through distillation. So we combined natural ingredients from different parts of the tulip with other flowers to express and realise our vision with this fragrance." Ben Gorham
Rose of No Man's Land
With top notes of pink pepper and fresh rose petals, this sensual yet fresh perfume is infinitely optimistic. The balance between Turkish rose, raspberry blossom and white amber gives it a sophisticated intensity that is beguiling. The ‘Rose Of No Man's Land’ is like the legendary tattoo worn by soldiers in homage to the selfless Red Cross nurses who saved thousands of lives during World War I, giving them hope. The notes are floral, enveloping, gentle and sophisticated.
