A mythical fragrance in which musk meets amber and fruity nuances. This emulsion with its contrasts intensively highlights the facets of Fleur de Peau.
As delicate as milk, this emulsion nestles against the body and hands, providing them with optimal moisture. The secret of a fragrance aura that lingers for a long time.
A fine, milky emulsion that, once applied, allows the multi-layered facets of the fragrance to radiate from the skin throughout the day. The musk notes intertwine with iris and ambrette seeds. With a single gesture, the skin is enchanted with the utmost delicacy.
The perfume gestures are inspired by the history of perfume; their textures have been reinterpreted to enable a completely new way of perfuming. A way to make the invisible perceptible and the intangible tangible. Whether hair mist, perfumed shower gel, body lotion or hand cream – they all contain a special concentrate that has been developed to deliver the optimal fragrance result depending on the formulation. Due to the high concentration, it may be sufficient to use just one of these products, depending on the moment and mood. Matter becomes fragrance, fragrance becomes matter…
Fleur de Peau
The scent of skin: Musk scents. How do you create a musk fragrance today that's modern and unobtrusive?
On the subject of musk... the 1960s were also characterized by a huge wave of empathy, an attraction to spirituality and Hindu practices. Transcendental Meditation, yoga, vegetarianism. People formed circles, recited mantras, practiced long-lasting "oooomms," and free love. Summer of love.
Musk: Sometimes natural (imported from Tibet, where it's still affordable), but mostly synthetically produced, most pleasantly emitted from the bodies of loved ones: navels, backs of knees, palms. Olfactory-wise, musk pairs well with the soft suede fringed jackets that the boys wear to great effect against bare skin.
How do you create a musk fragrance today that's modern and understated? By blending it with a pinch of iris, matte and slightly cool, long-lasting, with a strong charisma. That's what glove perfumers used to do, infusing their leather creations with it. Add a splash of bergamot and Italian mandarin, a handful of pink peppercorns, and aldehydes. Everything intertwines, bringing each other to life. An unusual contrast (surprise!) to what follows, but rounded and smooth.
The musks carefully selected by Olivier Pescheux dominate, alternating between leathery, powdery, and fruity. Sometimes a little wild, then delicate, like a baby's neck. Among them is ambrettolide, which offers a foretaste of the ambrette grains, which in turn form the link between angelica seeds and carrots, very similar to iris, also plucked from the earth. A successful interweaving. A transition to earthy tubers, stoic, ferrous, almost exuding the scent of a wine cellar, yet still extremely aristocratic and refined. Graceful Turkish roses enter the scene, just in time to enliven this introverted heart. The final note is a nuance of amber, which not only brings its inky and iodine accents but also underscores the vibrant expression of a "Peace and Love" perfume.
