Thierry Lemahieu, designer & creator of the brand

Thierry Lemahieu is a designer with a passion for rare art and perfumes. His sculptural bottle ‘Essence de ma Mémoire’, exhibited at the International Perfume Museum in Grasse, reminds us of the importance of fragrance in our lives. The Balma Venitia brand was born out of Thierry Lemahieu's love of perfume and art, bringing a new dimension to perfumery. Sophisticated and sensual at the same time, each perfume is unique and tells a different story that combines beauty and elegance. ‘I divide my life and my time between my two passions, art and perfume. The family estate is not far from Avignon, nestled among the vineyards at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. From this pure wilderness, a scent rose like a cloud and enveloped me completely. It was an unknown scent that blossomed in my mind and pierced my heart. An encounter with Marie Duchêne, a perfumer in Grasse, transformed my sources of inspiration, together with the finest ingredients, into exquisite fragrances made from natural formulas. Italian lemon, Java vetiver and nagarmotha reveal their beauty in a fragrance that lingers with its sillage. The aromatic signature of Balma Venitia Parfums.
