Accendis is the result of my personal and spiritual search for inner light. In Latin, accendis means ‘you enlighten’, but also ‘you radiate’. I have always believed that pop art enlightens, in the sense that it can put things in a new light. Pop art has strongly influenced Accendis – both the shapes and the fragrances. The collection is my work and my passion. I have given my fragrances a strong personality because light is stronger than darkness. They are presented in a glass bottle as pure as crystal, in a box lined with precious velvet, because light must be well protected.’ Emy Rodriquens


We all carry light in our souls and recognise its great importance in different ways. Somewhere in our souls, we are aware that there is more than just external reality. There is also something ‘magical’ ... metaphysical. The light of hope, love, passion, victory ... and many other things represent the essence of our lives. We all need a light to illuminate our horizons. Sharing all the feelings associated with it brings nothing but joy. Knowledge is also a light and a revelation. All these elements nourish our light, our energy and our lives.
