„Nach meinem Abschluss in Kunstgeschichte in Florenz, entdeckte ich meine Leidenschaft für die Parfumkreation durch ein Buch über natürliche Parfümerie und eine Handvoll ätherischer Öle. Zu dieser Zeit interessierte ich mich auch für die Alchemie, aber es dauerte eine Weile, bis ich die Verbindung zur Parfumherstellung zog. Seither habe ich viel gelernt und experimentiert. Ich habe in vielen Städten gelebt – Florenz, Berlin, Luxemburg, Amsterdam –, als ich in der Verlagsbranche für Kunstbücher arbeitete. 

Meine Parfums werden vollständig von mir konzipiert und von Hand hergestellt, von der ersten Idee bis zur Abfüllung und Verpackung in meinem Labor in Amsterdam. Ich achte zuerst auf die Kreation, aber auch darauf, das Konzentrat herzustellen, dann verpacke ich jedes Parfum von Hand. Die beständige Suche nach hochwertigem Material ist nicht nur ausschlaggebend für die Fertigstellung des Parfums, sondern eine permanente Leidenschaft, der ich mich geradezu unterwerfe.

Aktuelle Gegebenheiten, Stimmungen und Intuitionen – erfüllt von einer aufgewühlten, sinnlichen und spirituellen Bedeutung – sind meine Inspirationsquellen. Sie sind meine Offenbarungen. Ich bin nicht daran interessiert, ihren Duft einfach nur zu kopieren, sondern sie zugleich zu beschwören, indem ich die emotionale Spannung während dieser Erscheinungen zu Ausdruck bringe.

Die Kreation eines Parfums ist ein sehr langer und komplexer Prozess und ich lebe ein Eremitendasein, um eine Rezeptur zu ersinnen, die ich dann mische und ich halte meinen Atem bei jedem Tropfen an wie bei einem heiligen Ritual. In diesen ekstatischen und stillen Momenten fühle ich mich wie eine Alchemistin, die durch die Verwandlung etwas Neues gebiert, das nicht nur durch die Hinzugabe verschiedener Rohstoffe entsteht.“ – Francesca Bianchi
